The Awesome Big Walk

The Big walk
When we arrived at Camp Bentzon we had to go for a big walk. I was so tied to walk I said to Kobe. We walked to the other side of the island. When we went on step hills I slipped all the way back to camp.

On the way back to Camp Bentzon I was relieved that we made it back. I was so hot that the teachers said we can go for a swim

Booming off the Pontoon

As I put one foot into the water,I nearly changed my mind to go and summing to the pontoon.On the way to the pontoon my body was shivering the whole way to the pontoon, then when I got to the pontoon it was time to jump off the pontoon I was so exited to jump off.

Camp Benzon

Do you know where are we are going to? will let me till you we are going to Camp Benzon that is on Kawau Island we are going to sleep is a two store budeing that has cabens.It is going to amaseing.

Will be doing lots of activities like orienteering,Sports,Swimming,Raf macking,Kayaing, Rowing,Sailing, that will be cool.


The camp rules are no dogs,Children must be under adult supervision, No fireworks of any sort may be ignited on the island,No private property is to be entered without permission of the owner.

Ti will be a good camp on Kawau Island I will have a good time.

I have been reading a journal story called Alien Earth Base by John O’Brian. This is one of the adventures I chose in this ‘pick-a-path’ story.

Holiday to Wellington

On Friday in the holidays, we went to Wellington for a church youth revival, it was in Porirua city.

On the way to Porirua we went on a coach that is a bus, it was a double decker. When we finally got toPorirua I was happy we got there. It was a long drive. I was a sleep all the way to Porirua. It seemed like about 15 hours, I don't know how long the journey was.

The next day it was our church sports day. The games we played were three legged race, volleyball, touch and sack race.

On our last day I was sad because we were coming back.
I wanted to stay back in Wellington, but my church said we have to go home.

Ice Cream Comets

Have you had tased a comet befor? Well I have Room17 and Room16 had ice cream comets. I was so exsated when Miss Garden said we were going to have ice Cream Comets. When I saw Miss Garden scooping the ice cream that look so delicious.


Mr Sommerville mad a huge mess with the ice cream all over our calss pikinek tabll.This was bad and there was a powerful impact ovre the dust.


As I was going to give some more ice cream to evreone the boys were scavenging for more ice cream. So I gave same to Waata, Kobe,Alex,Crsader.

At the end of the day I faout happy that it was over but there is one.Theing that was fun day thak you Mr Sommerville,Miss Garden.

All Blacks Smash Canada

On Sunday the All Blacks smashed Canada 79-15 Canada did their best in the game.

In the game this person name Zac Guildford he got the first try for the All Blacks,then he got a try agen that was a “that was a amazing” then he got. A try agen then a try agen that is how he got four Try’s he is good.

It was the second half Canada had the ball it was 70-10 Canada got a try the score now the score is 70-15 All Blacks got a try now the score is 79-15 Canada did their best in the game.

The score was a surprise for me. I thought the score was 80-15 but I was wrong the rite score was 79-15.

AFL coaching

The first skill that room 17 learnt was the Drop punt. The teachers where our target that we had to hit the ball on the them.”I'm go to get you I said to myself”


Our coach told us how to bounce the ball every ten steps. As my partner shoot the ball in the air, and I shoot off the ground and onto the air I got the ball.

On Friday the 16Th the ALL BLACKS are going to play Japan, at Hamilton at Waikato Stadium the ALL BLACKS are going to get the first try I prediction that 49-20 the All Black coach is Grame Henry will be msking improvements to their game plan I think that they need to work on there scrum as they gave tonga many penalties.

Extreme Makeover Courtyard Edition

We have chosen to attach a basket ball hoop to the wall in the courtyard so the other kids can play with it and they can shoot some hoops. We need it because the school doesn’t have enough Basket ball hoops. We have found a supplier and the price



The next item that we are going to install is a security camera so people won't steal some things from the courtyard. We don't want to get robed again.We have found security cameras from Trinity CCTV for $899.00 for a whole set.



We are going to put a bench in our courtyard so we can have our lunch and morning tea.The school needs it because there are not enough chairs for the kids to sit on.We have found school

This is about how Room 17 can re-create the courtyard. The problem is that there is no space to play in. My idea to re-create the courtyard was to put a basketballl hoop so it wont get stolen.

Oktapodi Move Review

The movie Oktapodi is set in Greece. The characters of this movie are 2 octopus and a chef.

One octopus has to save the other octopus that is going to get cut and cooked by the chef. I think that would be so sad.

The main message of this movie is to never give up. I would tell my friends to watch this movie because it is fun to watch and it is so funny.

Redesigning my mouse

Our task this morning is to redesign our mouses using our imagination. I added a name with only one letter starting with P that stands for Point England. I added the P to the front to make it a sign. I even made the mouse bigger. I replaced the cord with a wireless mouse because I don’t want to tangle it like a snake.

On my netbook bag I add some pieces to. Ti I added an air conditioner, an ipod touch, a t.v., and a wallet.
I added a air conditioner because it will cool me down.I added a I pod touch so I can text. Then I added a wallet and a t.v.

Technology Challenge

Year 5-6 Camp

YES! YES! YES! I was ready for the year 5-6 s camp I was so excited. On our first day we went to swimarama pools.

When we arrived at Swimarama, the teachers choose some people to go in the swimming contest. When the people finished the swimming contest I thought that the hydro-slide, was not going to open but it did open . When I went on the hydro-slide it was cool and dark. I was nearly to the end I could see some light.


When we got back to school we had to do our tent. We had to make our in the tent. We had to do our tent I was.I had to sleep in the middle with Onosai we had 4 people in the tent. The team I was in was RESPONSTARS!

On the first day of camp the rsostars first thing that we did was kicking with . Mr Burt he was at the reserve waiting for us. When we got there Mr Burt told us how to get in the boa. It had to be ‘foot, bum, foot’.

Cricket

Every Thursday we have cricket with Haman, Robbert and Chris that is cool . I was nervous when we first played the game. The boy’s came to pt England school to teach us same cricket. We leaned how to , do a pull shot.
A guy name Jamie, he is a cricket expert he put us in to teams.The teams were called Hearts verses Aces.
That was awesome!!!!!!! He told us how to bowl to hit the wicket. The Heart's were the winners.
